Welcome to my academic website!

I have completed my Ph.D under the supervision of Professor K.N. (Kostas) Plataniotis and Professor Anastasios (Tas) N. Venetsanopoulos at Multimedia Lab, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Toronto. I received both of my Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Applied Science in 1998 and in 2001 respectively in the department of information science and electronic engineering at  Zhejiang University China. 

My PhD research focused on statistical learning methods applying to face recognition applications. More details pertaining to my research can be found on my research page.
