Looking out from a balcony at the old port of Fira. Its disgusting how beautiful the whole island is.

The east side of the island is home to Perissa. This black sand beach is a party-lover's dream come true. Bars are open pretty much all day, and the clubs are one long house party. Expect a dark bronze tan, and a serious hangover.


Classic picture. Ia's sunset has been rated the best in the world. Period.


A nice view of Fira from a distance. You have got to love whitewash.


Looking south from Imerovigli towards Firostefani. You can barely see Fira peeking out from behind the jutting cliff face.


Imerovigli again, but a little bit to the right.


Sunset from Fira. I am torn between whether Fira or Ia has a better sunset, but I suppose it is a matter of taste.


The domed churches of Firostefani are always painted the traditional navy. This is a classic picture as well.
