Welcome to my academic website!

I am an M.A.Sc. student in the Communications Group, in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto. I am under the supervision of Professor K.N. (Kostas) Plataniotis.

My research interests include digital signal processing and machine learning. More details pertaining to my research can be found on my research page.

I received the Bachelor of Science degree in 2002 in the Electrical Engineering Department (communications group) at Sharif University of Technology. The title of my B.Sc. thesis was "Sparse Component Analysis techniques for geological interpretation of seismic test data."

I am a member of IEEE and IEEE Toronto Section.
