Welcome to my academic website!

I am now a Research Fellow at the Institute for Infocomm Research, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore.

I received my Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto. From September 2008 to August 2009, I was a post-doctoral fellow working in the Multimedia Lab under the supervision of Professor K.N. Plataniotis (Kostas) and Professor A. N. Venetsanopoulos (Tas).

News:

I have successfully defended my thesis "Multilinear Subspace Learning for Face and Gait Recognition" on July 17, 2008.

The Matlab codes for MPCA and MPCA+LDA together with the tensorial gait data are released on March 1, 2008.
