GE Canada

  • Regional GOLD Coordinator, Region7 (10–pres.)

    • Coordinate GOLD activities for Canada Region
    • Oversee operations of GOLD Affinity Groups
    • Develop member retention strategies and value propositions
    • Lead Executive Officer training to GOLD Chairs in Canada
    • Represents GOLD's interest on boards (regional and global levels)

  • Registration Chair, IEEE CCECE (07–8)

    • All registration related tasks for a conference of over 500 attendees
    • Provided assistance to international travelers (invitation letters, etc).
    • Managed on-site registration booth, as well as conference volunteers


  • GOLD Secretary, Toronto Section (06–7)

    • Took all meeting minutes, created agendas and organized tasks for members
    • Other admin duties, such as contacting speakers, sending out emails, etc.
    • Representative to Region7's GOLD Congress

    • Peer reviewed papers for IEEE's TMI, SPL, ICIC2005, COMM.06, CCECE08, and MICCAI, IJCARS


  • Task Manager, IEEE ICME (05–6)

    • Task Manager for the Local Arrangements Committee
    • Assisted with logistical details of the conference (hotel, AV)
    • Managed all student volunteers.
    • Coordinated conference gift bags, including designing the conference logo
